Ideal for low winds with a wide lumbering flight path. The large traditional styles are easy to see in the air and can be tuned for optimal performance by lifting the tips a little. The tooling alone for such a boomerang can be $20.000 or more so sometimes vendors are not as particular about the product being a real boomerang.
